1954 Eclipse Sickle Bar
6/3/25- It’s not often that Eclipse Sickle Bar mowers are seen vs. the reel mowers. This one was an extra from a Gravely clean-out of a customers collection in New Hampshire. Having been stored in a barn most of its life, this Eclipse is a well preserved example of the Tornado 800.
1949 Bolens Handi-Ho
5/15/25- An uncommon unit saved from “yard art”! First year production Handi-Ho model “10A” powered by a Briggs “NS” engine that I found with the reel mower, sickle bar and cultivator attachments. This was an extensive revamp to get it back to operational condition again.
1940’s Planet Jr. HT
2/20/25- A 1940’s Planet Jr. HT tractor joins the collection. Powered by an uncommon Toro model “MH” engine, this walk behind was pretty tough when I brought it home last November. A two part series details the mechanical revamp that was required to bring it back to a functional, running unit.
